With over a decade of experience as a psychologist, Nicole brings a deep understanding of mental health, trauma, and addiction, and is dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to help individuals navigate their mental health journey. Her background in case management spans child protection, out-of-home care, youth homelessness, and drug and alcohol services, equipping her with a unique perspective on complex psychological needs. Committed to ongoing professional growth, Nicole recently earned her Master’s in Clinical Psychology and is currently practicing as a Clinical Psychology Registrar.
Nicole specializes in working with adolescents and adults, with a strong focus on trauma, complex trauma, addiction, anxiety, dissociation, and depression. She utilizes evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (Level 2), Motivational Interviewing, Schema Therapy, Ego State Therapy, Biofeedback (Neurofeedback and Heart Rate Variability), and Deep Brain Reorienting (Level 1), alongside other trauma-focused approaches.
As an AHPRA board-approved supervisor, Nicole is passionate about training and mentoring the next generation of psychologists, particularly in diagnostic and cognitive assessments for ADHD, autism, intellectual disabilities, learning disorders, and memory-related challenges. Nicole enjoys balancing her complex therapeutic work with clinical supervision and cognitive assessments, and is open to providing supervision to mental health professionals seeking support for professional, clinical, and/or assessment concerns.
Outside of work, Nicole enjoys cuddling up to her dogs, binge reading escapist novels, and spending time with the important people in her life.
